creamsicle cupcakes
These were orange cupcakes with a fluffy cream filling and topped with an orange buttercream. They tasted just like a creamsicle!

4th of July red velvets!
The picture doesn't really do these cupcakes justice, as I took it from my phone. They turned out beautifully red. Perfect for the 4th of July holiday. I topped them with a whipped cream cream cheese frosting, which is a light, airy cream cheese frosting with whipped cream mixed in. Although the frosting is delicious, it doesn't hold up well in the heat, it melts just enough to lose its shape. Alas, the cupcakes were yummy!

s'more cupcakes
The boyfriend bought me this when he was home on leave from Iraq. Not your typical gift for a sweetheart but I was soooooooo excited to get it because I had been dying to make these:
These are chocolate cupcakes with a graham cracker crust and a toasted marshmallow frosting!

monkey baby shower!
Oh this was the funnest! We were having a baby shower for my sister-in-law, who was having the first baby boy to carry on the Swore name, and the first baby boy in almost seven years (with five girls in between). They did his room in brown and green, and they love monkeys and she really liked the tie-dyed onesies that I had done before, so I combined them for the theme. These monkeys ended up being one of my favorites! This was also my first attempt at cupcakes...they were chocolate with peanut butter buttercream frosting. Uh-maz-ing!
