4th of July red velvets!


The picture doesn't really do these cupcakes justice, as I took it from my phone.  They turned out beautifully red.  Perfect for the 4th of July holiday.  I topped them with a whipped cream cream cheese frosting, which is a light, airy cream cheese frosting with whipped cream mixed in.  Although the frosting is delicious, it doesn't hold up well in the heat, it melts just enough to lose its shape.  Alas, the cupcakes were yummy!
